I used to think of time as a riverbank. And life is the river, and people are boats traveling along it. We travel along the bank, and specific events and experiences are marked in definitive locations along the shore, or time if you will. This would allow time travel. But now I see that this is not so.
Now to me it seems that time is the river. And people are stones in the river, time constantly...
